Camp Programs

The following is a preliminary list of programs that hold events at Camp Mokule`ia during the 2005/2006 season.

New Beginnings New Beginnings is a unique weekend specially designed to respond to the issues, concerns, and needs of teenagers in grades 7, 8, and 9 (mature 6th graders may also attend). The program is designed to help participants grow in their love of themselves, others, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Participants should bring their own bedding (sleeping bags are recommended.)

Cost:	$65 per person. Includes lodging, meals on Saturday and Sunday and activies fees

Happening - A Christian Experience Happening is a Christian Experience that seeks to bring young persons to a fuller personal knowledge of and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and to a deeper level of commitment and apostleship. Happenings holds wonderful weekends of fun, fellowship, sharing, caring and experiencing God's love. Each weekend is designed to deepen one's faith and help young people understand what it means to be a Christian in the world today. Young people from all over the Diocese work and pray together to make each Happening a success. There are talks, singing, worship, small group discussions, fun games and a few surprises. It is an experience that will bless you for a lifetime.

Vocare Hawai'i "Vocare" (vo-car-ee) is a form of a Latin word meaning "to call". Vocare is a renewal weekend geared towards young adults ages 18-30. It proposes no new type of spirituality, but does provide a method through which one's spirituality may be developed, nourished, lived and shared in fellowship with Christians willing to dedicate their lives to God in an ongoing manner. Vocare believes that Jesus Christ has made -- and will continue to make -- a difference in the world and individual lives.
